This pigeon was raised by human hands when it's mother would no
longer feed it. She has since become very tame, very unusual for pigeons. I named her SCARLETT, and when I
call her she responds. Her roll in the loft is to drop the pigeons out of the sky when they arrive from the Pigeon Race. SCARLETT
also puts on a great show to visitors at the house.
I belong to the Borden Racing Pigeon Club, which I have been racing since
1984, but have kept pigeons since I was 9 years old. Started racing in 1972, with very little success of winning any positions
in the top 16. My racing career abruptly came to a halt, because marriage became a reality in my life, and after moving to
an apartment, the life of keeping pigeons, was not allowed.
Well with the assistance of some good friends, and purchasing good pigeons,
I came a long way since then. The feeling of being on top of the race sheet is a reality now, but staying there is another
story. Now I'm at a stage in my Pigeon career that, its time is to create a winning family which will respond to my management
techniques, and win constantly.
